The Lockheed Martin F-117 Nighthawk was the world’s first aircraft invisible to radar and with its unconventional design and series of carefully angled triangular panels, the inspiration behind this stealthy pilot's watch. This F-117 Nighthawk GMT features a 44 mm gunmetal PVD-plated stainless steel case with a black dial matched with white and luminescent obelisk-style hands and Arabic numerals in both 12- and 24-hour format. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's illuminate the watch thru its hands and around the chapter ring. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a bi-directional rotating bezel with a luminescent 24-hour scale and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. A bit of red contrast adorns the Luminox logo, GMT text and GMT hand. A black kevlar strap with a leather lining, secured by a black CARBONOX™ buckle, completes the tough and stealthy look. This watch has a screw in caseback with a detailed engraving of the F-117 Nighthawk and Lockheed Martin's logo wherein underneath lies a Ronda caliber 515.24H Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
