Limited to just 8,000 pieces, this blacked-out piece popularly known as the "Samurai" features a 44 mm black PVD case with a matte black dial protected by Seiko's proprietary crystal, Hardlex, uni-directional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale on a black and gray top ring. The oversized indices are silver-tone while the seconds and hour hands are black and the minute hand in bright orange, all of which are filled with Seiko's LumiBrite for enhanced luminescence, readability, and visibility for longer periods. A date aperture is located at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the screw-down protected crown. Also fitted with a black silicone strap secured with a black PVD signed buckle. The stainless steel caseback features the iconic tsunami logo and the inscribed limited edition number. It is powered by Seiko's caliber 4R35 automatic movement which boasts of a 41-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
